Chiral Reflection

⠀⠀⠀⠀I try to look like what you’ll want to see
⠀⠀⠀⠀like I might be known if given another try
⠀⠀⠀⠀to finally completely mirror the real me,
⠀⠀⠀⠀how I’d portray it weren’t I so sold on the lie.
⠀⠀⠀⠀I bought into you, so this is how I’d get used
⠀⠀⠀⠀were you to find me fit through and through,
⠀⠀⠀⠀taking my second chances as if not so refused.
⠀⠀⠀⠀What pleases your eye, that’s what I turn into.
