Not One of the Blessed

Expect no clemency, not from her.
She demands for herself grace she herself doesn’t give.
Foul names she calls you remain as they always were
and will be, for as long as you both shall live.
But when it’s most undeserved, grace means its most —
not being good enough for her is the one sin
she’ll not forgive in you, yet you’re supposed
to do what she won’t: forgive yourself yet again.
